MacroFactor

Macro tracker that adjusts targets to your data

We added this listing ourselves; its maker did not submit it. Are you the maker? Send it through the launch form and say you made it. There is no self-serve claim yet: a person reads it and replies to the address you give.

Nutrition tracker whose coaching algorithm re-estimates your energy expenditure weekly from logged weight and intake, then adjusts macro targets — no punishment mechanics. $11.99/mo or $71.99/yr; free trial.

What it does

MacroFactor, built by the Stronger by Science team, is a nutrition tracker with an adaptive coaching engine: it estimates your actual energy expenditure from your logged intake and weight trend, then recalculates macro targets weekly.

The design is deliberately adherence-neutral — no streak-shaming, no red screens after an off day — because the algorithm treats every data point as information rather than failure.

Pricing is $11.99/mo, $47.99/half-year, or $71.99/yr, with a companion Workouts app at identical pricing and a $89.99/yr bundle for both (2026). Trials run 7-14 days.

AI stack

Adaptive algorithmic coaching engine built on energy-balance modeling — statistical estimation rather than an LLM.

From the AXIS Launch team

Adherence-neutral design is a real philosophical stance in an industry that monetizes guilt, and publishing the reasoning behind the algorithm builds unusual trust. If you claim this: how accurate is the expenditure estimate versus lab-measured TDEE, and how fast does it converge for new users?
