Journal that asks follow-ups and finds patterns

We added this listing ourselves; its maker did not submit it. Are you the maker? Send it through the launch form and say you made it. There is no self-serve claim yet: a person reads it and replies to the address you give.

Interactive journal: write an entry, get thoughtful follow-up questions in the moment, and see recurring themes surfaced over weeks of entries. Free to start; premium subscription adds long-term memory and deeper insights.

What it does

Rosebud turns journaling into a dialogue: you write, and it responds with follow-up questions that push past the first draft of a feeling. Over time it surfaces recurring themes and patterns across entries.

It sits deliberately in the self-reflection lane — a journaling companion rather than a therapy substitute — and has drawn mainstream press coverage as one of the more thoughtful entries in AI wellbeing.

The app is free to download and start; a premium subscription (recently around $10-13/mo, with annual pricing available) unlocks long-term memory, voice journaling, and deeper insight features.

From the AXIS Launch team

The follow-up-question mechanic is what separates this from a chatbot with a diary skin — good questions are the product. Given how sensitive journal data is, if you claim this: what are your commitments on training, retention, and deletion of entry content?
