What it does
VetRec is an AI scribe built specifically for veterinary medicine: it listens to the consult and produces structured SOAP notes in the clinic's own template, pushed into practice management systems, so vets stop finishing charts at 9pm.
The vertical focus matters — veterinary vocabulary, species-specific exam patterns, and clinic workflows differ enough from human medicine that general scribes underperform. It is used by practices across the US, UK, and Australia.
Pricing is $99/vet/mo billed annually ($150 monthly) with technicians and front-desk staff included at no charge, a 14-day trial, free access for veterinary students, and nonprofit pricing for shelters and rescues.
From the AXIS Launch team
Not charging for techs and front-desk staff shows they understand clinic economics — per-seat pricing on support staff kills adoption in small practices, and the free student tier seeds the next generation. If you claim this: how do you handle multi-pet appointments where two patients share one recording?
